I coped so hard it became real :)
Might still be cope but I think it's true :)))))
I don't care what redditors tell you. Nayuta is still alive.
I was skeptical and thought this was just cope until I realized that we have seen Makima control people without chains especially if she has controlled them before so it is entirely possible that Nayuta still has control over Asa.
Also I don't like the idea of Yoru being all anime broken after not being able to beat the Chainsaw Devil that I've seen some people say, she is the personification of war itself so there is no reason why she would feel disheartened especially when she is right in front of her goal. It just makes no sense, she would fight with every ounce of her being, mainly because Yoru will revive anyways and try again later.
Also it looks like Chainsaw Devil is looking past Yoru and at someone behind her.
But all of this was masterfully set up, the removal of the mouths feels so much more than just a gimmick for the chapter and removes crucial information about what is happening to the audience. When Yoru looks at the "camera" at the end it can convey all sorts of emotions but since she can't say anything it isn't going to be an anime <(!) there to clue us in on what's happening, not only that but it also removes a lot of the problems Chainsaw Devil would cause to characters like Yoru, no war would break the whole story so he can't eat her (Chainsaw Devil may still be able to erase things if it's Chainsaw Devil's stomach that erases the thing or his mouth). Another thing is it would make the shot that I said was the Chainsaw Devil looking past Yoru way more noticeable what he is exactly doing. Very good stuff, Fujimoto is my favorite mangaka because of things like this.

This chapter is good but there's not much to say about it ;). Good art and action and more set up, hopefully if there is a part 3 we get a part more similar to part 1 with small things happening and not really building up to other things but I'm under no allusion that we will even get a part 3, this might be the end. A lot of part 2 has been build up where as in part 1 only the last 20 or so chapters was really about build up and even then it was mainly side stuff until it built thoroughly up.
I don't know, I like this part and I don't want part 2 to just be part 1 part 2, I want Fujimoto to have the freedom to do whatever he wants but I do hope part 3 isn't part 2 part 2.

Asa mentioned she is hungry. So Asa/Yoru could be starting to be controlled by Fami.
Maybe.
Maybe.
